It is with deep sadness that we convey the news of the passing of Vimbai Hungwe. Vimbai died in a car accident on Sunday 7 June 2010 in South Africa. We all knew him as someone who was committed, dynamic and enthusiastic about his work - an outstanding individual.

He was an ardent supporter of the toolkit and since attending the Smart Toolkit training last year November in Namibia, he has been promoting its use in the southern Africa region.

Our condolences go out to his family and his colleagues at the Information Training and Outreach Centre for Africa (ITOCA).
